Do you see any radio towers?

Do you see the radio tower in this dance video from the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble?

The answer is no. That's because they commissioned me to paint out the tower (along with a few stray horse trailers, cars and houses) from their location shoot at the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah.

Along with the painting out of radio towers, I did some work on the early part of the video to enhance the smoke that signals the beginning of the dream sequence.

VFX for The Piano Guys

In September I was contacted by YouTube sensations The Piano Guys about helping them with some visual effects work on a film they were making. They wanted to replace the cloudy sky with a starry timelapses during the chorus of the song "Sky Full of Stars."

Hours of rotoscoping and tracking in After Effects led to this:
